Discover snakes and salamanders and focus on the natural history of West Virginia’s diverse fauna.

Mountain Nature Camp

June 15-21 and/or June 22-28

Teachers, professionals, and budding naturalists spend a week learning and exploring all aspects of the natural world. Daily trips and expert guest instructors add to the camping experience. Teachers may receive professional development credits.

Mountain Nature Camp spans the generations, and that is something to Celebrate! Join us and feel regenerated by the dedication and love for Terra Alta Mountain Nature Camp. Celebrate the Terra Alta spirit, reconnect with friends, and share in the 78 year community that is Mountain Camp.

Botany Weekend

July 11-13

The emphasis for this year’s program will be insectivorous and other wetland plants. Friday evening Bill will highlight the plants we will see and field trip sites we will visit on Saturday and Sunday.
